Many thanks for your continuous support of our school and ongoing development of our policies and procedures. We believe consistency and equity is a critical thing to achieve for all of our students here at Alness Academy and with this in mind and as previously communicated (following consultation) – we will be launching the expectations for our “New School Uniform” this term. Our young people have been heavily involved in the design of our uniform, which includes a new school tie for both our Broad General Education Students (S1-3) and returning Senior Phase Students (S4-6). Our new school badge reflects the pride that our young people have for our school and community and have chosen a design that will support our new school colours – which will be purple and blue.
This is an exciting time for us all here at Alness Academy; following our most recent HMI report we are continuing to focus on leadership and raising aspiration for all as our school aims. We are committed to raising attainment and achievement for all of our young people, and a new, unified school uniform will support our aspirational aims and objectives.
